1. Annual Dues Collections—On May 18th a second notice was sent to owners of 22 lots requesting payment by 5-31-09. 117 owners have paid and $11,700 has been deposited in the bank.
2. Newpath Networks—Representative Patrick Inkman visited me today to update the plans for a cell tower in Pima Acres. Until today Newpath has been agreeable with our height restriction of 16’8”. Now he indicated they may want to go up to 25’ with the cactus tower. He was advised in writing that we will not agree with a 25’ tower and will press the city for help if necessary. He was also asked for verification that Newpath will comply with the 16’8” height.
3. Flood Control—The City is still working with Grayhawk on the drainage channel along the west side of Pima Road. The City is still moving forward with the project. However a new engineering firm has been hired to complete the plans. No date has been set for starting work.
4. City of Scottsdale Police Department has a free Residential Security Survey Program. Call the Scottsdale Police Crime Prevention Office 480-312-8802 to schedule a free on site inspection by a uniformed officer. The visit includes a 40 point written review and check list covering front and back yards, front entrance, windows, interior, neighborhood, security safety and vacation preparation. The goal of this free program is to help make you and your home safe and secure.
